This traditional Korean cooking pot is made of solid ceramics. It can be put directly on the open fire. Traditionally it is used to cook and serve guk (soup), jjigae (stew) and dolsot bibimbab, a dish made of steamed rice, vegetables and (optionally) meat (for details see the recipe in our info section). The bowl turns so hot that anything you put inside sizzles and becomes crispy.
